FURTHER INFORMATION:

Level Play Association Croquet League – Winners 2025: Chester 5 Teams Bowdon, Bury, Chester, Crake Lakes & Fylde. Matches played between teams of three, comprising one doubles and four singles games, with time limits of 3 hours.  Minimum player handicap of 1 and the total team handicap must be at least 6.  Two league points awarded for a win, one for a draw, in addition, Bonus League Points are awarded to any losing team based on the total increase in Index Changes for the team: One Bonus Point if total increase in team index is 10 to 19 and two Bonus Points if total increase in team index is 20 or more. 

26-Point Handicap Association Croquet League – Winners 2025: Fylde  8 Teams Bowdon, Bury Caesars, Bury Peelers, Chester, Crake Valley, Fylde, Pendle & Southport.
Matches are played between teams of four, comprising one Doubles game and six Singles games, with time limits of 3 hours. Players play to their CA Handicap subject to a maximum of 24 in Singles and 20 in Doubles and played to base 8.  There are no restrictions on doubles pairings but Singles should be arranged as far as possible in descending handicap order subject to no person playing the same singles opponent twice. Two league points awarded for a win and one for a draw.

14-Point Handicap Association Croquet League –Winners 2025: Fylde 6 teams – Bowdon, Bury, Chester, Fylde, Llanfairfechan & Southport.
Matches are played between teams of four, each comprising 2 doubles and 8 singles matches, with time limits of 1 hour 50 minutes.

Players will be ordered based on handicap. The first round of matches will be 2 doubles matches with pairings of players 1 and 4, 2 and 3 playing their equivalent pairings. Each side may also unilaterally elect to play either conventional doubles or alternate stroke doubles. The doubles will be followed by 2 rounds of singles with the following match pairings, first round of singles 1v2, 2v1, 3v4, 4v3. Second round of singles 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4.

Players play to their AC Handicap Bisque allocation is to be in line with Schedule 1: Schedule of bisques within the Laws of Association Croquet, adjustment from 26 point to 14-point games. This is subject to a maximum of 13 in Singles and 11 in Doubles, Two league points awarded for a win and one for a draw.

Short Association Croquet League – Winners 2025: Bowdon Weekdayers 9 teams – Bowdon Weekdayers, Bowdon Weekenders, Bury, Chester, Fylde, Llanfairfechan, Pendle & Craven, Southport & Westmorland.
Matches are played between teams of four, each comprising sixteen singles games, i.e. all play all, with time limits of 1 hour 30 minutes. Players play to a Short Handicap (subject to maximum 10). Two league points awarded for a win and one for a draw.

Golf Croquet Handicap League – Following the play-off final on 25th September, Southport Falcons are the Golf Croquet Handicap League winners 2025 (beating Pendle 10-8) League A – Bowdon, Bury North, Crake Valley, Fylde Falcons, Pendle* Craven, Southport Hawks & Westmorland. 
League B – Bury South, Chester Senators, Craggy Dons, Ellesmere, Fylde Coasters Llanfairfechan Dragons, Llanfairfechan & Southport Falcons
The league is split into A & B blocks. In each Division, all teams play each other once. Matches are played between teams of four, comprising one round of Doubles (with no restriction on pairings but play teams in order of combined handicaps) and four rounds of Singles (all play all), giving 18 games.  However, matches may be restricted to four rounds of singles (all play all) giving 16 games, in such a case, the final score must be scaled up to the equivalent 18 game match.  Time limits for games are 45 minutes, plus 5 minutes for double banked games. Players play to a maximum Golf Croquet Handicap of 12.

Level Play Golf Croquet League – Winners 2025: Southport 7 teams – Bowdon Bombers, Bury Sovereigns, Chester Centurions, Chester Chariots, Crake Valley, Southport & Westmorland
Matches are played between teams of three players – all play all twice at Singles, giving 18 games.  There are no time limits on games. Each game will be level play and changes in individual handicaps will be calculated as per the current ‘Level Play Exchange Matrix’ as shown on the CA website and included as an Appendix to the League Rules.
