Tattenhall Croquet Club was formed in 2012 – they are now in their second proper season following an experimental season on a different and unsatisfactory lawn at Burwardsley in 2011. They moved at start of 2012 down the hill to the larger village of Tattenhall to what we hope will be a long term (permanent?) home within the Tattenhall Recreation Club. At present thay have one full sized and rather unsatisfactory lawn. However there are plans to move them to a better location onto a specially levelled lawn within the same complex later this season. The CA have given them a small grant towards the cost of this. They have about 25 regular members at present and are just playing golf so far though they have a few members who are keen to take in association as well.
