Teams representing both Lancashire and Cheshire played at the Diamond Jubilee AC Inter Counties last weekend in Sussex. Both teams play in Division 1 and whilst not winning the championship, managed to avoid relegation finishing 7th and 8th in the division. The highlight of the weekend was the match between Cheshire and Lancashire with Lancashire emerging victorious 2-1. The tournament winners were Nottinghamshire who on route to the title beat Cheshire 2-1 and Lancashire 3-0.
