OLD RELIC WON IN SCOTTISH OPEN

Held in Edinburgh on 19 and 20 July 2003, this coveted trophy – the ancient Moffat Mallet – was won by Bob Burnett of Southport.

Unfortunately he was not allowed to bring it home since the Mallet is not allowed out of Scotland.

Chris Dent from Bowdon was the runner up and Dave Nick of Crake Valley won the Plate.

Picture shows Chris Dent, Bob Burnett and Dave Nick enjoy their rewards after defeating the best in Scotland.
