Pendle B Level Trophy Goes South by Barbara Dutton (23/05/10)
The weather really did us pround, two blisteringly hot days and many hard fought games between the 12 players who travelled from as far apart as Woking and Edinburgh with 10 clubs represented. Five of the players hold Pendle & Craven membership, however with handicaps varying from 1.5 to 8 – they weren’t successful in gaining the trophy this year. That honour went to Alan Edwards from Woking, runner up was Richard Smith from Chester and the Manager’s Peeling prize went to Ken Jones from Edgbaston.
