Golf Croquet to Association Croquet Made Easy

A new coaching video has just been produced by Chris Alvey of Bury Croquet Club. Chris is also an Executive Board member of the Croquet Association with responsibility for Croquet Performance and Selection.

The shots & techniques demonstrated utilising GC skills are used to put together a break, whilst there are other shots that can be used but these are the basis of association croquet and you can win a game using these three basic shots alone.

Croquet Coaching in the North

There is a full range of Coaching Courses at the Northern Croquet Academy at York Croquet Club. There are a few places remaining on some courses and a few dates yet to be confirmed for later in the season.

A place on a waiting list is always an option for a course that you fancy but which is currently full – you never know!

Please be in touch if you are interested in any of the options on offer, suitable both for GC and AC players.

Latest Laws of Association Croquet

7th Edition Laws of Association Croquet is published – Croquet Association Website 10th Mar 2021

The new 7th edition of the Laws of Association Croquet are effective from 1st March, 2021.

An interactive version has been published on the CA website.

The Regulations for Refereeing Tournaments has also been updated and published on the website.

An A6 booklet containing the Laws is in preparation and its availability will be announced here once publication date is known. Players who wish to reserve their copy can do so by ordering it now on from the CA Shop.
